Hi! I was just wondering if you could do a Remus x Reader based on Gravity by Coldplay. Only if you want to, but I’m curious, because it’s a rather good song :)
It’s a mellow spring day, chirps of birds flurrying through the air and gentle streaks of the Sun playing with the morning dew on the thin blades of grass. It’s the calm before the storm and the way the smoky grey seeds of the dandelion pirouette through the air as she gently blows, a covert wish on her mind.
It’s the glimpse he catches of a minuscule grey segment fluttering in the slight breeze and the swift turn he makes to see where it came from. Her skin is glowing, her eyes closed as she faces the sun, peaceful and still. And he sees a beauty, a celestial radiance, a warmth he continues to feel even as he walks away. His daydreams are disturbed by playful nudges and suggestive: “Who’s that Moony?’’s and sly smirks. It hurts him that he doesn’t know, and he feels something at the bottom of his lungs, something settling at the very core of his delicate heart, its beats harmonious as a the dulcet tones of a hummingbird’s song.
A force of nature that continues to linger atop their gentle heads, behind their unknowing shoulders, in their candid hearts. Accidental touches burst into imperceptible flames, and the simple hint of his voice sends her into a trance. An innocent cowardice and hidden feelings, wordless poems composed about the glimmer in her eyes.
♫Like I Would- Zayn// Marauders Era: James x Reader
Request:
Could I request a James Potter x reader? Where she is best friends with the boys and while she has always had feelings for James she likes that a handsome, blonde from the Quidditch team takes an interest in her. He shamelessly flirts with her and asks her out. James reacts jealous as he is starting to realize his own feelings for the reader? Pretty please! :)
A/N: I’m sorry it took so long, I hope you like it!
Leaves had begun departing from the tree branches and dancing their way down in the gentle wind. The air was becoming crisper and the days shortened, the gentle twilight settling while slender figures still sat atop brooms and flew around the massive pitch, voices and loud hits echoing around the pitch.
As the crescent moon rose and the sky darkened, letting the stars peek through the delicate clouds, the players finally descended, grounding with laughter and the sound of satisfied high fives. The cheerful exclamations boomed through the hallways as the quidditch players poured out of the changing rooms and into the wide corridors of the castle.
Y/N was leaning against a pillar, her nose buried in a book, her thoughts interrupted by a hand covering the page her eyes were roaming, causing her y/e/c eyes to look up. She raised an eyebrow and pouted disapprovingly at James, as he grinned at her, nodding to the right as she closed her book and followed the dark haired boy, shaking her head lightly, struggling to hide the smile invoked by his presence.
“How was practice?” she asked, looking at the floor, her glance occasionally lingering on his jawline, butterflies fluttering through her body, her fingers tingling with the hope of coming into contact with his.
“Same as usual. Fun. Exhausting.” he said, as a long haired, slim figure walked towards them, mischievously grinning. Once Sirius reached them, he turned around on his heel, throwing a long arm around each of them, and squeezing them tightly.
“Sirius–cannot–breathe,” Y/N struggled in his grip, prompting him to release her. She took a deep breath and rolled her eyes at the roaring laughs of her best friends. A trio of Hufflepuff girls walked by them, eliciting a wink from James and a painful sting of jealousy spreading through Y/N’s stomach, along with the feeling of helplessness and knowledge that she couldn’t blame him for it. Her adoration for him was surreptitious and fruitless, her glances going unnoticed, her touches simple and friendly, the emotion behind them invisible to him.
Another day rolled around slowly, bringing around another wait outside the quidditch changing rooms for her friends to gather, another book in her hand as she leaned against her usual pillar, secretly anticipating the familiarity of the pale hand hovering over the black letters that covered the yellowing pages. Instead, she was startled by a gentle grip on her shoulder, looking up to meet a pair of blue eyes on a slender face framed by blonde locks. The boy had a shy smile on his face and a nervous glimmer in his eyes.
“Hey, Y/N right?” he met her eyes before timidly glancing back at the floor.
“I’m sorry, have we met?” she felt a jolt of guilt for not remembering the kind boy’s name.
♫Freckles and Constellations- Dodie Clark// HP- George Weasley x Reader
Request:
George Weasley x reader?
With this song if you don’t mind: https://youtu.be/MXnC04foULQ
Btw I love how you write! :)
A/N: This song is so beautiful, I loved writing to it so much! I hope you like it!
She heard a knock at her window through her dazed state of sleep. Frowning, eyes closed, she pulled the duvet cover over her head, assigning the sound to her lulled state.
Another knock. And another, booming louder than the others.
The duvet was rapidly whisked off, her frowning face darkening as she took bitter, long strides to her bedroom window, her hands angrily pulling the pale red curtains to the side. The frown was replaced with a raised eyebrow and a big smile, her head slightly shaking as she unlatched the window, letting the two red haired figures fly into the room, their roaring laughter bouncing off the walls as their brooms descended onto the carpet-covered floor, soon discarded against the wall.
“Helloooo”, Fred’s boisterous voice was full of pride at the loophole they’d found to the many restrictions placed on the girls’ dormitories.
“What are you doing here?”, Y/N asked, laughter in her voice but not a hint of surprise.
“It was a slow day”, George shrugged with a big smile sitting bright on his freckled face as he wandered around the room, picking random items up and putting them back down immediately.
“Where are all the other girls?”, a faint disappointment was clear in Fred’s voice as he looked around the room.
“The common room. You know, with all the sane people?”, Y/N said sarcastically, nodding towards the dorm door.
“Right. I’ll be right back.”, Fred fumbled, winking at his brother and walking backwards towards the door, finally opening it and disappearing into the faintly lit corridor.
As the door closed, Y/N looked at George, a mischievous grin on her face.
“Wait for it…”, she whispered, nudging him slightly.
Seconds later, an exasperated yelp was heard, coming from the spellbound staircase.
“The charms work on the way down too”, she shrugged, smirking victoriously at her best friend.
George laughed, the sound roaming around the room, filling it with an unfamiliar warmth: “Seems like you’ve learned a thing or two from me”, a lighthearted wink playing on his permanently cheerful face.
The crackle of fire faintly fought through their chatter as the night went on, the twilight of their arrival turning into a moonlit night. The hue of the licking flames resembled his the blazing locks that framed his amiable face. A face she loved so well, so gently, so covertly.
Suddenly, George stood up, his usual smile hinted with mystery and adventure. Walking over to the window, he grabbed his broom, mounting it and then abruptly standing completely still, mischievously raising an eyebrow at Y/N.
“You coming?”
“I’m sorry, am I what now?”, a disbelief was present in her voice, a shocked laugh escaping her soft lips.
“Come on, night’s still young.”, he gave her a wink.
The twinkle in his eye made her forget about the rules, about her perfect record, about everything but the promise of the night ahead.
She sat behind him, leaving a few inches of space between them, her hands firmly gripping onto the broom.
“I don’t bite, Y/L/N. Most of the time, anyway.”, he said, faking a serious tone as he grabbed her timid hands and placed them around his waist.
He didn’t know it then, but she’d felt the spark too, the small electric shock that traveled through his body as she placed her arms on his stomach, tightly gripping onto his sweater.
The open window and the red glow of the fluttering curtains and the flaming brightness of the fire place became a distant view as the crisp autumn air rushed into their laughing faces, the bliss of the surrounding stars isolating them from everything but each other. The cool wind woke her completely, yet she couldn’t convince herself that this wasn’t a dream, soaring into the depths of unknown galaxies with someone like him.
It had been hours, but it felt like mere seconds, before they were sitting at the quidditch pitch bleachers. The foreign calmness surrounded them, an ethereal perfection filling the air.
“The moonlight makes you look unbelievably beautiful.”, he beamed, his hand finding her way to her face and brushing a strand of hair from her cheek. The realisation of what he was doing had caught up to him soon, as he rapidly moved his hand away, intercepted by her own.
“Who told you you could do that?”, an impish frown played on her face as she placed his hand back on her cheek, her eyelids gently closing, a peaceful smile spreading across her lips.
She felt a soft breeze on her face, a mere moment before she felt his lips on hers, his hand still cupping her cheek. She’d never looked up the definition of divine, but suddenly, she was sure this was it, his lips softly brushing against hers, untold words flowing between them, feeling her grin against his lips as he pulled her closer, their buried passion finally revealed in the most beautiful of ways as the moon graced their entangled bodies with its light, the stars giggling with satisfaction.
♫White Leather- Wolf Alice// Marauders Era: Sirius x Gryffindor Reader
Request:
Hiiii! I saw that your request were open! I was wondering if you could write one where it’s a shy Gryffindor and she’s really close with the Marauders group and she’s the closest with Sirius but she’s had this crush on Sirius. she doesn’t say anything and she sees him flirting with all the girls and she gets really grumpy with him and hardly talks to him and then he asks what’s wrong and you can take it from there. God sorry it’s so detailed!
A/N: I hope you enjoy this babe, this is the first time I’ve tried writing something like this so I hope it’s not too bad! xx
I’d absolutely love to do some ships and preferences some time soon, and I’m also considering using word prompts rather than just songs when I write, so please don’t hesitate to request any of these!
I’ve been so overwhelmed with the response my writing has gotten and I want to thank you all so so much for all the messages and comments you left, it makes me so happy to know that something I’m so passionate about can make others happy too! Thank you all so much!
Mischievous dark eyes peeked through rows of leather bound volumes, crinkling at the sight of the red haired figure sitting by James Potter as they huddled together above a volume that spread the scent of age through the air.
“Finally.”
Her eyes were averted from the spines of the ancient books by the raspy sound of his voice. A few gliding steps and she was by his side, her vibrant eyes blinking right by his, fixated on the couple.
“Called it” she rolled her eyes, relieved at the sight. The smile slightly faded of his face as he dug around his pocket and placed a galleon in her outstretched hand.
“Everyone called it, you just called it first”, he rolled his eyes, grabbing her hand and dragging her out of the library as she whispered ignored protests.
“I had things to do, you know”, she feigned frustration, her heart filled with confusion at the warmth that the imprint of his fingers left on her soft hand.
“You’re just a nerd,” he winked, “Speaking of which…” he nodded, his eyes fixed behind her. She turned to see Remus walking towards them, his mouth moving gently as he read from a long piece of parchment in his hand.
Engrossed in proofreading his assignment, he failed to notice the pillar resting right in front of him.
“REMUS!”, she yelled, “STOP!”.
His long strides were brought to a halt: “LOOK!”.
Finally, the brown haired boy looked up, his nose almost touching the concrete pedestal, as he slowly looked up its length. Leaning to the side, he gave her a nod and a grateful grin: “Thanks, Y/N!”
As he fumbled around his bag looking for a place to put his assignment, he walked towards her and Sirius.
“Potter and Evans are reading together”, Sirius greeted his friend, dragging out the word ‘reading’ in mild disbelief of his friend James.
“Finally”, Remus sighed, handing a coin to Y/N’s already outstretched palm.
“It’s a pleasure doing business with you”, she said with an exaggerated cheerfulness.
Request:
Hi! :D If requests are still open could I request something? :) A story with young Remus and the song I Alone by Live. If you want to. No pressure! If you don’t feel like it I understand ;D ❤️ Loved your Sirius story!
A/N: Hope you like it lovely!
The way they met was a cliché, dropped books, gently exchanged words, undiscovered sparks glowing in the crisp, question-filled air. The fleeting touch of innocent fingers that would burn for days after in the most stunning of ways.
Stress overtook her as she stared down at the Potions book she’d just borrowed from the library, trying to carve the heavy words into her mind, bumping into multiple irked students as she rushed down the hall, her eyebrows coiled into a concentrated frown.
Seconds passed and her books were on the floor, pieces of parchment happily scattered on the cobblestones. She knelt down, reaching for her Divination assignment when another hand touched hers, a divine shock flowing through her fingers.
“I’m so so sorry”, the brown haired boy fumbled, picking up her possessions, while she stood still, a calm smile on her face, a sense of enlightenment in her heart.
“That’s alright”, she spoke softly, “Don’t worry about it”.
He fumbled with his words, gentle apologies drifting through the air, barely reaching her mind embraced by fascination at his enchanting presence.
“..I hope I didn’t mess up your work or anything”, the boy stood up, extending a hand which she happily accepted, and handing her books back with the other hand.
“I’m Remus.”
His name reached her through her daze as she shook her head slightly, landing back in reality.
“Don’t worry about it, honestly”, she smiled sympathetically, “God knows it’s happened to me more than once” a giggle escaped her lips.
“I’m Y/N”
He flashed a shy smile her way: “Lovely to meet you.”
“Likewise. I’ll see you around!” she beamed at him as she waved, walking backwards and hit yet another annoyed classmate, causing her to turn around and rush to class, glancing back to see the chestnut coloured wonderboy walk away.
Strangers that knew each other better than they could understand. Brief glances and smiles with the radiance of a million suns, a radiance which pursued them wherever they went, lingering, ready to blaze as soon as their eyes met.
Weeks were filled with flirtatious glances fluttering through the air filled with unsaid words. Her smile reeled him in, emptying the world of all but her slender figure reaching for a book on a shelf that was too high.
Loud jokes and strong nudges from his best friends, a grin and a few shakes of his head. Prolonged glances and smiles, a sting of jealousy when her soft voice was gracing Lucius’ ears instead of his own.

Sirius Black: The Fox and The Hound
A/N: I know this isn’t the most conventional story, but I got the idea in my head for some reason and I just had to write it. I know it’s quite a bit shorter than what I’ve put up so far, but I’ll make up for it soon; I have an idea that could possibly be a multiple part story depending on how far I’m able to take it! Also, I’m Sirius-ly (haha please don’t leave me) considering making this an HP only blog for a while, until I get more ideas and responses on what to do with the other shows.
Please remember, requests are open, so feel free to ask for anything at any time (ships, imagines, preferences, aesthetics and so on)!
When I write enough posts, I’ll also be posting links to all the songs I’ve used as inspiration.
Much love for all of you, you’ve been amazing, and I hope you enjoy this!
If the trees grounded by the opaque waters of the Black Lake could talk, their leaves would rhapsodise about the fox and the hound that made a nightly habit of wandering by the pitch black waters in the dead of night, guided only by the pale moonlight and intuition. The branches would happily crackle, narrating a fairytale about a boy and a girl who didn’t know they were the best of friends, sharing an unexplained devotion to each other.
If the agonized branches of the whomping willow were art brushes, they’d paint an image of a dark haired boy, a loathing filled letter clutched in his defeated hand, being embraced by a girl whose significance he’d only just began to comprehend.
If the soaring owls could turn their hoots into love songs, they’d sing of the chilly spring day when the brooding black hound and the gentle red fox ran side by side, slowly morphing back into the boy who feigned nonchalance and the girl who saw right through it.
If the gargoyles gracing the castles rooftops could bellow a fable to the crowd rushing around the magic filled grounds, their stone voices, raspy with gravel, would reveal the boy and the girl, standing in front of each other. Naked. Exposed. Vulnerable. Yet safer than they’ve ever been.
Years later, the house elves would tell the story of the day the boy and the girl ran off into the abyss of the Black Lake, her wedding dress emptied as flaming fur covered the small four footed creature fumbling to escape the silk and tulle, while the hound abandoned his suit and tie at the shore…
…and the fox and the hound waded, breaking the opaqueness of the lake with the rays of frenzied love that Dante speaks of.
♫Technicolour Beat- Oh Wonder//
Marauders Era: Sirius x Reader
A/N: This is just something I thought of while listening to this song, and I hope you enjoy it!#
She set him free in an unbelievable way; her carelessness was contagious, filling the air with every word she spoke. She was the light breeze that pushed the brooding clouds away from the sun, allowing the warm light to enliven his life.
She saw the buried tragedies, casting them aside with a touch of her fingertips, allowing him to glow the way he was meant to.
Sunrises meant nothing until he learned the admiration she had for them, until the 5 am light caressed her face as she closed her eyes and smiled at the sky, her cheeks flushed with the peacefulness.
“Get up, get up, get up” Y/N nudged him repeatedly.
“You’re making the bed shake for all the wrong reasons” he groaned, pulling a pillow over his head.
“Wake uuuuuup!” she whined, tugging at his nightshirt.
His response was less than satisfying, as he mumbled “No thanks”.
Minutes later he was grouchily following her to the front of the castle, running a hand through his messy dark hair, eyes half closed.
The cold air woke him as he looked around, disoriented.
“It’s still dark! Are you bloody insane?!”
She smiled at him and pointed straight ahead “Look”.
She looked at him like a happy child, anticipating his reaction.
“What am I looking at?” he asked, as the sun began peeking through the tree branches and a soft breeze blew.
Her smile was infectious. He smirked, watching his best friend’s grin as the sun rose and grazed her face and her (y/e/c) eyes closed gently, facing the orb of light rising in front of them.
He didn’t have a favourite colour until he’d learned hers was yellow. After that day, he’d be perfectly happy living in a fully yellow house, surrounded by sunflowers.
“Y/N it’s your turn to ask Sirius” Lily pointed out.
“Please no, I’m terrible at coming up with questions. And dares.” she groaned.
“Don’t ruin the game now” he winked, smiling at her frustration.
“Fine. Truth or dare?” she mumbled, frowning at her friends.
“Dare” he said unsurprisingly.
She racked her brain for one until she finally gave up: “I dare you to tell us all your favourite colour” she said folding her hands across her chest and lifting her head up proudly.
“That’s possibly the worst dare I’ve heard since I’ve first played this game.” an unamused expression graced his face.
“You scared?” Y/N joked, smirking at him.
“I don’t have a favourite colour.” he said matter-of-factly, a sigh escaping his lips. “What’s yours then?” he looked at her, waiting for a response.
“Yellow” she happily said, her eyes crinkling with the smile lighting up her face.
“Let’s just say mine’s yellow too” her warm presence made him feel at peace with everything, and now the colour yellow did too.
Books were just words on paper until she’d read him to sleep one night and made them come alive and flutter through the air, embracing him softly through the sound of her voice.
He saw her familiar silhouette sitting on the couch in the common room, illuminated by the light from the roaring fireplace, her nose in a book.
“Why are you up?” he asked, jumping over the back of the couch and landing at her feet.
She didn’t look up, clearly captivated by the inked words in her hands “Why are you?” she mumbled distractedly.
“Couldn’t sleep” he said with a sigh, throwing his feet onto the couch right next to hers. She looked up from her text, closing it,never moving her index finger off the page: “How come?”
♫I Found- Amber Run //Golden Trio Era: Draco x Gryffindor Reader
A/N: This is my first attempt at a fanfic, so I’m sorry it’s short and probably not the best. I don’t have the time to finish it up today, but I will be putting up a part 2 tomorrow. I hope you like it and it’s not too terrible :)
Edit: I wasn’t very satisfied with the part 2 of this that I posted, so I will be redoing it very soon, most likely by the end of the week!
Summary: The reader is a new student at Hogwarts and ends up in the astronomy tower looking for an escape from her first few days. This is where she meets Draco, but through their conversation there’s no hint of which house they’re in.
Warnings: Smoking?
The gauzy grey clouds floated by the nearly full November moon. She couldn’t tell whether the dense twirls of air in front of her face came from her breath or the lit cigarette in her right hand. Her bare legs hung over the edge of the astronomy tower and, like a child, she swung them back and forth, staring at the moon.
She couldn’t quite remember how she’d found her way around her new school, but she decided not to worry about finding her way back just yet and enjoy the sting of nicotine seeping into her lungs. It was cold but she didn’t feel the wind’s chill. She felt completely content and blissfully numb as the wind blew and her (y/h/c) hair tangled in front of her face, her coat angrily flowing with the gust and barely covering her nightgown.
“Lumos”
A gasp escaped her lips as she turned to see just how much trouble she was in.As the tall, slim figure stepped forward into the moonlight she recognised the grey-blue eyes and now messy fair hair of a boy she’d seen earlier that day.
“Sorry, did I steal your spot or something?” she said, swinging her legs back onto the floor and stubbing out her freshly lit cigarette. When her gaze floated back to the spot where he was just standing, she was surprised to find him gone. Instead, she heard a soft voice to her left:
“I can share for tonight.”
He had sorrowful eyes that blankly gazed into the distance as he let his long legs hang over the edge where hers had just been and his pale hands limply intertwined and settled in his lap. She smiled an unseen smile as she swung her legs back to where they had been and took another cigarette out of her purse, fumbling for the lighter.
“Aren’t you cold?” the stranger spoke.
“Aren’t you?” she eyed his seemingly delicate clothing. He smiled and shook his head lightly. They sat in a complacent silence, and she subtly admired the way the moon caressed his pale face.
“So you couldn’t sleep either?” his voice seemed fragile as he broke the silence.
“Not at all” she sighed and smiled at him sympathetically.
“I haven’t seen you around before” his stare finally broke away from the distant mountains and settled on her face “and I definitely haven’t seen you here”.
“I’m new” she nodded “I just transferred from Beauxbatons.”
He smiled and extended his right hand towards her “Draco” he smiled, quickly adding “Malfoy”.
She happily accepted, exaggerating the handshake humorously “Y/N, Y/L/N”.
A soft, unhappy crack reminded her of the cigarette that had been in her right hand until it was crushed by the cheerfully keen handshake. She returned the two broken pieces to her purse, taking out another, bringing it to her lips and swiftly lighting it as she inhaled the fiery smoke.
“What’s that?” Draco spoke, clearly baffled by the action.
“A cigarette” she wasn’t surprised by the question as she took another puff. Many pureblood wizards knew nothing of muggle inventions such as cigarettes. “Never start smoking them. You get hooked and they make you die early.” she preached as you exhaled a wisp of smoke.
“So why are you doing it? Isn’t that an incredibly stupid thing to do?” he laughed in mockery as she rolled her eyes and looked at him.
“You sound just like my mother.” The comparison made his dark eyebrows knot into a frown, immediately untangling when you nudged him lightly and smiled.
Playful words and laughter floated around the tower until the sun peeked on the horizon.
Laughing, Draco said “We should get back. We don’t want to get run into Filch.”
“Who’s that?” she asked, grabbing his extended hand and standing up.
“If you haven’t met him yet, you really don’t want to” he smirked and walked towards the staircase.
“I’ll trust you on that” she smiled, following him, her hand still entwined with his.
“Y/N’‘Y/N groaned, pulling a pillow over her head and frowning in her sleep.
’'Y/N! Come on, we’ll miss breakfast!” Hermione’s frustrated voice completely woke her, and she promptly sat up, a frown on her face.
“I didn’t know I was rooming with a morning person” she murmured angrily, sweeping her duvet to the side and standing up.
Being rushed by Hermione wasn’t pleasant, but it did get Y/N out of the dorm within the following 10 minutes. As they walked down to the Great Hall, her frown didn’t waiver. As she walked into the hall, her eyes roamed the sea of people at the 4 lengthy tables, gleefully catching a glimpse of the fair haired boy who’d made her heart skip only hours ago. She smiled at him, winking playfully.
She felt a sense of contentment when his lips spread into a grin as he gave her a nod.
Seeing her made him feel strangely blissful, a reminder of the previous night which had made him forget everything but the moment he was living in.
Until he caught a glimpse of the red and gold tie gracing her neck.
